| We are also looking for fosters or in the best case scenario permanent homes for about 15 + retired racing greyhounds that are scheduled to be euthanized in the not to distant future. All the previous greyhounds rescued have been the best dogs but there racing careers are over and their owners don't want them taking up space, pretty shitty IMO. If you can't foster at least spread the word for us Thanks. |

the black lab mix, but they had a family emergency and could not take
her. I have added her to the list. Please take a look at Lady, she is
highly adoptable and begging for attention.***
Hi Everyone,
Here are some animals needing rescue. Their owner battled breast
cancer last year, and found out last week that cancer is spread
throughout her neck in her lymph glands. The doctors have said the
prognosis in not good, they are just going to start to try and shrink the
tumors. She started chemo again today and will not be able to care for
the animals. She started a rescue a few years ago and all the animals
are ones she rescued. There are 4 dogs and about 15 cats. Please

Dogs:
Patti: Patti is a 4 year old chow mix. She is very sweet and just wants
attention. She knows sit and is pretty laid back. Her picture was taken
before she was shaved, her face looks the same but her hair is a little
shorter now. She is current on all shots and spayed.
Sandy: Sandy is a 4 year old american bulldog/lab mix. She is very
timid around new people and takes a while to trust anyone. She is very
sweet and loyal once she knows you. She will need lots of time and
patience. She is current on all shots and spayed.
Lady: Lady is a 4-5 year old black lab mix. She is a paws in prison
graduate and knows basic obedience and housetrained. She is highly
adoptable and ready to be with a family. She is great with other dogs
and loves to play. She is current on all shots and spayed.
Tara: Tara is a 5-6 year old pit mix. She will roll over as soon as she
sees you to get a belly rub. She likes to lean against you and be pet. She
is very loving. She is current on all shots and spayed.
Cats: (All cats except Precious and Boots are current on rabies and
spayed/neutered but other vaccines are not current.)
Precious- Precious in a 8 month old smokey gray tabby. She is a total
sweetheart and loves to be held. I will be taking her March 3 to be
spayed and get all vaccines and leukemia/fiv test.
Boots- Boots is a 8 month old tuxedo. He wants lots of attention and
likes to play. I forgot his pictures but he is very cute. I will be taking
him March 3 to get neutered, all vaccines, and leukemia/fiv test.
Smoky- Smoky is an older solid gray DSH. I am not sure of his age but
probably 7-9 years old. He is very sweet and would be a good lap cat.
He is blind in 1 eye.
Cody- Cody is a gray and white DSH and is about 4 years old. He likes
to be pet and lay on the bed.
Hope- Hope is a 3-4 year old chocolate DMH. Her picture makes her
look black but she is a pretty chocolate color. She has a chronic
stuffy/runny nose, I'm not sure what the cause of it is.
Lucy- Lucy is a very pretty smokey gray tabby with little patches of
orange. She is about 1 year old. She like to get attention and sleep on
the bed.
Midnight and Twilight- Midnight and Twilight are brothers. They are
about 5-8 years old. Midnight is blind in one eye. They love to be held
and play.
Angel- Angel is a special needs cat. Her teeth were bad and they had to
all be removed last week. She is a little skittish but will let you pet her.
I have no idea of her age but I'm guessing she's old since all her teeth
were bad.
